
Dick Blasucci
Dick Blasucci began his career writing for “SCTV” the NBC late night sketch comedy show. While on SCTV he won two Emmy Awards for Best Writing and was nominated nine times.
Other writing and producing credits include: “MadTV” “The Larry Sanders Show” “Tracey Ullman Show” comedy specials for HBO including “I, Martin Short Goes Hollywood” “Billy Crystal: Don’t Get Me Started” and “Muppets Tonight” which won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Children’s Program.
He is currently writing and producing the SCTV Anniversary Special for Netflix and teaching classes in sketch comedy writing at Pepperdine University and the Harold Ramis Film School at The Second City in Chicago.
